"The goal of the Kuoni Group is to raise the level of sustainability performance within its supply chain. We aim at minimizing the negative influence of our supply chain on people and the environment and, at the same time, leveraging the positive impacts in the short, but also in the long term.

Our approach for a sustainable supply chain goes beyond monitoring: Firstly, we have introduced our Supplier Code of Conduct as an integral part to our contracts with suppliers. Secondly, we are monitoring the performance of our key suppliers by means of the Travelife sustainability system. As key suppliers we have distinguished 300 hotels, with which we cover more than 25% of our total passenger volume.

Thirdly, we support our suppliers to improve their sustainability performance by offering regular workshops in various destinations.

Finally, we aim at transferring knowledge and communicating transparently about sustainability of our supply chain. By communicating the Travelife results to our employees, our suppliers, and our customers, the Travelife Sustainability System & Awards help us achieving our goal of fostering a sustainable supply chain."
